Serogi is built on a privacy-first philosophy. Your data stays on YOUR device.
Device-Local Storage: All chat messages, notes, images, and personal information are stored locally on your device. We do not upload your conversations or personal data to our servers.
No Training on Your Data: Serogi never stores or uses your data to train AI models. Your data is used solely to serve you in the moment.
Voodoo Encryption: When you export your data for backup, it is encoded using Voodoo, our proprietary encryption language, to ensure only you can access it.
AI Processing
Zero, our AI assistant, uses trusted third-party AI providers to generate responses:
• DeepSeek — Conversational AI and reasoning capabilities
• OpenAI — Enhanced AI capabilities
• Gemini Vision — Image understanding and analysis
• Various image generation models — Creative content generation
When you send a message to Zero, your prompt is sent to these providers to generate a response. These providers process your request in real-time and do not retain your data beyond what is necessary to serve your request.
Important: Zero only uses your data to serve you better in the moment. We never store prompts on our servers for training purposes.
What We Do NOT Do
We believe in complete transparency about data practices:
• We do not sell your data
• We do not share your data for advertising
• We do not use your conversations to train AI models
• We do not store your chat history on our servers
• We do not use tracking cookies or fingerprinting
• We do not monetise your personal data in any way
Your privacy is not a feature — it's a fundamental principle of how Serogi is built.
Minimal Data Collection
We collect only what's necessary to operate the service:
Account Data (Optional): If you create an account, we store your email address via Firebase. This is used solely for login and Pro token sync.
Device Information: Basic device info for compatibility and debugging.
Anonymous Analytics: Aggregated, anonymous usage data to improve the app.
Error Logs: Crash reports retained for 30 days to fix bugs.
Data Storage & Security
On-Device Storage: The majority of your data (messages, notes, preferences) is stored locally on your device using secure local storage. This means your data stays with you.
Cloud Sync (Optional): If you enable cloud sync, minimal encrypted data is stored in Firebase (Google Cloud Platform) with enterprise-grade security.
Pro Tokens: Token validation uses SHA-256 hashing. Your actual token value is never stored in plain text.
No Tracking: We do not use cookies for tracking, analytics pixels, or fingerprinting.
Your Rights Under GDPR
As a UK-registered company, we comply fully with the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018. You have the right to:
Access — Download all your data directly from your device, or request what we hold.
Rectification — Request correction of inaccurate data.
Erasure — Delete all your data with one tap in Settings, or delete your account permanently.
Portability — Export your data using Voodoo encryption anytime.
Restriction — Request we limit how we process your data.
Objection — Object to processing of your personal data.

Children's Privacy
Serogi is not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us at team@serogi.uk and we will take steps to delete such information.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated through the app. The latest version will always be available at serogi.uk/privacy.
